We have an abundance of updates regarding upcoming events in our thriving pickleball community. Please see the listed items below.
-Pickleball Lincoln is now offering beginner group lessons at Let's Pickle on Tuesday mornings from 11am-noon. We are also offering skills and drills clinic on Thursdays at Let's Pickle from 11am-noon. Please see their website and check out the new Court Reserve scheduling app for sign-ups. Cost is $15/session. We hope to attract more PLI members through these sessions.
-Let's Pickle is offering a promotional sale to Pickleball Lincoln members. Active members can receive $10 off a monthly Silver membership bringing the cost to $34/mo. You must sign up in person to receive this discount.
-Cupids's Crush is nearly at full capacity but we can still take any last minute entries for our Feb. 15th event at Speedway Sports Complex. Registration is found on our event calendar.
-PLI will be kicking off our Spartan Series of events April 5th at Let's Pickle with a 4-person (2 women, 2 men) team MLP style event with prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Spaces are limited so don't delay signing up if interested. Registration is found on our event calendar.
-Next week our application for summer sessions at city courts will be distributed. We are looking forward to an exciting season programming our newly converted courts.
-There is a "Big Dill" tournament happing March 2nd at Union College.
-The YMCA is hosting a "Battle of the Paddle" tournament March 1st and 2nd.
-The YMCA is offering lessons for $45 for youth or $90 for members.
