I'm a girl dad of two beautiful girls and I'm grateful everyday for them. When I have free time I enjoy traveling, being in and around water outside, sporting events and of course pickleball. I played baseball in high school, college and a little bit professionally. The game of pickleball captured me immediately but the pickleball community continues to foster a deeper appreciation for the game.

Director
Benjamin Gan
Benjamin@pickleballlincoln.com
Ben's passion for pickleball stems from the unique combination of competition, connection, and joy that the sport brings. It’s a game that challenges both the mind and body, demanding strategic thinking, quick reflexes, and teamwork. The fast-paced nature of pickleball keeps Ben engaged, while the social aspect creates a sense of community that’s unlike any other sport he has played.
What makes pickleball truly special is its accessibility—anyone, regardless of age or skill level, can pick up a paddle and enjoy the game. Watching players of all backgrounds come together, improve, and share their love for the sport fuels his own drive to grow as a player and ambassador. Pickleball has given Ben countless opportunities to connect with others, stay active, and constantly strive to improve, which is why it’s more than just a hobby—it’s a true passion.

Dr. Anh Nguyen

As a physical therapist, my greatest joy is when patients come in with certain beliefs of physical limitations due injury, age, weight, etc, and then during our time together, we challenge and overcome these limiting beliefs one by one, and patients leave my care with more ability and confidence than they've had for years.

My passion to work with others to achieve their goals has led me mentoring younger students, advising them in their applications for scholarships, colleges and professional programs. I serve as an interviewer for admissions at UNMC.

In addition, my wife and I love coaching volleyball for the High Flyers Volleyball Club, a boys club here in Lincoln, NE. I am excited to explore coaching opportunities to work with pickleball athletes!
