Good places to source antibodies and proteins in the UK?
Hey everyone, I'm looking for some good places to source antibodies and proteins specifically within the UK. Since Brexit, ordering from the EU has become a real headache with all the extra paperwork and customs fees. It's adding to the cost and time, which is frustrating. I’d love to find a reliable supplier within the UK to simplify things. Has anyone had good experiences with any particular companies? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated – our lab budget isn’t unlimited, so value is a big factor too!

I totally understand the Brexit struggle! It's made everything so much more complicated. I've had some luck with gentaur for antibodies. They seem to have a pretty wide selection, and their prices are competitive. I've mainly ordered primary antibodies from them, and the quality has been consistent. Someone in our cell bio group was investigating lysosome structure and managed to find some hard-to-get antibodies there that worked perfectly for their microscopy work. Give them a browse and see if they have what you're after, might save you some import hassle!
